No senator who has ever served more than 15 years in the Senate has ever won the presidency
Trump is only the 5th Incumbent to win over 90% of his parties primary votes since 1912

HandsomeMrToad Valorius • 4 hours ago That doesn't change my point. Lockdowns were never supposed to be long-term or permanent. They are useful when an epidemic is beginning, and you need them to slow the spread of the pathogen and get you some time to develop a response and to avoid overwhelming your health-care workers with a huge spike in workload.
Modifying, or even reversing, their recommendations as new information becomes known makes agencies like WHO more reliable.
